About Us
Gypo's Authentic Egyptian Cuisine was established in 2018. We started as a restaurant at the Gold Coast, but soon realised the demand for Egyptian food was greater then expected. We were frequently asked for home deliveries and for our food to reach all the other states. We have listened and we are now an online store. Gypo's is a family-owned business managed by Egyptians, and is here to present Egypt to Australia. Our chefs are all genuine Egyptian cooks, hence the name Authentic Egyptian Cuisine. All meals are traditional Egyptian cooked dishes which makes you feel as though you are dining on the Nile river or overlooking the famous Egyptian Pyramids of Giza. If you are after an authentic experience, this is as real as it gets. Our meals range from Vegan/vegetarian to Carnivorous for the meat lovers varying from the traditional street foods to the elegant 5 star dining experience in Egypt. We have a huge range of vegan meals, that will let your taste buds flow to a new taste sensation that vegans and vegetarians did not think was possible. Gypo's offers all meals in generous portions as Egyptians love to eat big. We offer the most traditional meals eaten in Egypt, including all the exotic Egyptian dishes, delicacies and street food, without the need to hunt for ingredients to cook at home. Our meals dont just stop at home orders. We also do special orders customised to your needs and catering for all special events. Our meals consist of a large variety of dishes, inlcluding vegan, vegetarian, chicken, fish and meat dishes as well as an assortment of beautiful desserts and drinks. Our traditional Egyptian desserts consist of an assortment of beautiful sweet pastries, cakes. and puddings. A mouthful experience you don't want to miss out on. Beverages
Gypo's offers some of the most famous Egyptian beverages. Juices and teas that you can enjoy at home, including a delicious hibiscus tea which was believed to have been a popular drink amongst the pharaohs.
